Bob was in the food industry primarily in QA and Food Safety. He retired after 40 years with Cargill, where he assisted with FSSC 22000 implementation in Cargill Corn Milling North America and selected sites globally. Currently Bob is Regional Inspector for FSSC 22000 in the Americas. He is also part of the GFSI Technical Working Group on Auditor Competence. Auditor Competence is one of the foundation cornerstones for risk removal at all levels of the food chain. It is our responsibility as Scheme Owner to do our part at maintaining transparency and communication, verifying compliance with the relevant standards, and providing information at all levels. Food Safety, as we continually say, is not a competitive advantage. Food Safety is fundamental to health and the well-being, of all individuals. Food safety involves everybody in the food chain.
