Adrian Casillas is the FSSC representative for the Latin American region. He supports all FSSC related activities involving both the private sector and public authorities in Latin America. In the past, Adrian has worked for the FSSC licensed Certification Body Global Standards responsible for its accreditation activities. This required intensive internal and external engagement with various stakeholders such as standard-setting organizations, trade organizations, governments, and NGOs. Over the last 15 years he has also worked as an auditor and trainer of several management system standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 22000, and of course the launch of the FSSC 22000 Scheme. Adrian strongly believes in the integration of ISO management system standards supplemented by additional requirements demonstrated through the FSSC 22000 Scheme. This in turn facilitates organizations to build and implement a better and stronger Food Safety and Quality Management System.
