Vacancy Management Assistant

A vacancy has arisen for a Management Assistant. The Management Assistant is involved in driving the full range of secretarial and communicative services within the FSSC 22000 team. Professional judgement and ability to provide independent creative solutions to critical problems will be vital to succeed in this role. You're based in the Netherlands and available for 32 hours a week.


First contact for e-mail, phone and post correspondence

Organize, prioritize and summarize the content of incoming materials, specially gathered information, requests and meetings

Establishes and maintains office filing and other record keeping systems, including expenses

Lead and/or prepare presentations, scheduling meetings including making reports

Anticipate needs, take initiative and prepare daily schedule of meetings and priorities

Maintain calendar and make all travel arrangements

Research and resolve day-to-day operational issues in a fair and consistent manner

Perform evaluations of processes, procedures or other documentation on an as-needed basis

Supports online communications e.g. webinars, conference calls, website and extranet access for licensed organizations


MBO or Bachelor Degree with a secretarial background, working with quality processes is an advantage

>5 years progressive experience in an international environmental

Proficient and advanced Microsoft Office experience including Excel and PowerPoint

High Personal standard for customer service

Intercultural awareness and sensitivity

Strong interpersonal skills to be able to effectively interact with associates at all levels of the company to negotiate and ensure the best possible communications outcomes

Strong planning and organizational skills

Ability to stay focused in the face of multiple deadlines

Fluent in English —ability to read, write and speak English at a high proficiency level

Based in The Netherlands

Available 32 hours per week and flexible in work hours

Affinity with online/digital systems and programs like website content management systems
