SCV broadens its focus

From ‘food safety’ to ‘safety, quality and sustainability’
27 September 2016

SCV, the driving force behind Dutch HACCP (Requirements for a HACCP-based Food Safety System), has recently broadened its focus from food safety to include developments in the field of quality and sustainability. To mark this change SCV proudly presents its new logo and website.

SCV was founded in 2004 and originally focussed on food safety. SCV since then provides a legal entity for the food certification system Dutch HACCP (Requirements for a HACCP-based Food Safety System). In 2009 SCV developed the food safety management system FSSC 22000. FSSC 22000 has issued over 13,000 certificates in over 140 countries since and maintains certification license contracts with 100+ certification bodies worldwide.

After twelve years of experience in food safety management, SCV has decided to broaden its focus to include developments in the field of quality and sustainability. The latest initiative on safety and quality management is HPC 420, a certification standard for the international Home, Laundry and Personal Care Industry.

To mark this milestone, SCV proudly presents its new logo and website. The new logo shows the broadened focus of SCV and visualizes the connection between SCV and its initiatives FSSC 22000 and HPC 420
