Suspension Udem and Aspirata Lifted per 11 March 2015
In December 2014 two cases were brought to the Sanction Committee. The committee decided that the licenses of certification bodies Aspirata in South Africa and Udem in Turkey were suspended for three months, till 11 March 2015. In this period these CBs had to show the Foundation in detail that they are dedicated to FSSC 22000 and can meet with all the requirements.
Both CBs have fully co-operated to show the Sanction Committee that they are able to meet with all requirements. Based on this information, which was presented to the committee anonymously, it has been decided that as of today, 11 March 2015, the suspension for both Aspirata and Udem are lifted.
Both CBs will stay under supervision, but have proven to the committee that they are fully committed to FSSC 22000. The Foundation trusts in a further good cooperation.
