Information Seminar in Asia meets high expectations
Leading 3rd Party Food Safety Certification Scheme Hosted FSSC 22000 Asia Conference to meet Rising Demand for International Certification
FSSC 22000, the world's fastest growing food safety certification scheme, hosted an international conference in Thailand on April 28th. Recognizing the need to meet the growing demand for certification in Asia, the conference at Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel in Bangkok, was largely aimed at the region's leading food manufacturers and producers of food packaging materials, and their affiliates, who seek to achieve international certification for their manufacturing and processing facilities. Benchmarked by the Global Food Safety Initiative, FSSC 22000 is the leading food safety management system based on the international standard ISO 22000. Delegates left with new insights, connections and a clear understanding of how to implement FSSC 22000.
Fons Schmid, Chairman of the FSSC 22000 Board of Stakeholders said The program was designed to introduce organizations throughout the entire food supply chain to the added value of food safety certification. All aspects ranging from the global status of FSSC 22000 to its application and expanding scope were covered. We were very excited about our program which contained inspiring keynotes and valuable Asia case studies. In the next years FSSC 22000 will expand its presence in Asia by organizing a number of information seminars on the scheme, and attend a number of Asian conferences and seminars.
