1999, after obtaining his MSc in Computer Science at the University of Twente,
Hent has worked in various IT related roles. The first five years he has
travelled all over the world for the delivery of telecom services to mobile
operators, getting to know many different cultures, their differences and
similarities. From 2007 on he is working as an independent IT consultant for
large Dutch companies like KLM, KPN and Rijkswaterstaat. In the role of IT
Architect he gives directions and guidance to the design and implementation of
IT systems, solutions & services. In 2017 he got his Master of Enterprise
IT Architecture at the Antwerp Management School with focus areas like
Enterprise IT Governance, Information Security Management and Modular Design. He
wrote his thesis about IT service Design using Ontological Modelling.
2017, Hent acts as IT Advisor to support FSSC in its digital transformation.
Information and its availability, reliability and integrity are vital at this
time for organizations. Hents key focus areas are the improvement of the
IT support of the FSSCs internal and external processes, IT value management,
cyber security and new technology introduction.
