When he started his career, he never thought that he would be in and near food. Erwin was a University trained mechanical and business engineer with an end theses in B2B marketing, working as a logistic manager. But after he joined a big international food retailer, he was asked to get trained as a food and near food technologist. And.... he loved and he still does. Food is his passion. Development of new products, factory audits, combining technology, trouble shooting, hygiene codes, HACCP, GFSI, GMP, International food/feed/near food product safety standards and managing food and non-food safety for several multinationals, made Erwin who he is. In 2013, Erwin was asked to join FSSC 22000 to be an Integrity Program Assessor for Europe and Africa, doing office and witness audits.
